The Omaha Superhero Shootout is open exclusively to House/Rec hockey players in the following age divisions:

• 6U (Birth Years 2020–2021)

• 8U (Birth Years 2018–2019)

• 10U (Birth Years 2016–2017)

• 12U (Birth Years 2014–2015)

This tournament is designed to provide a fun, competitive, and balanced experience for recreational players. Travel players are eligible to play up an age group. For example, if you have an 8U Mite player who would like to participate, they may play in the 10U Division.

YES! This is the best and most unique part of the tournament. This isn’t your run of the mill practice jersey with an AI generated logo.

Our jerseys are licensed by Marvel, fully custom sublimated and made in America specially for this tournament. There will be no one in the world with these exact jerseys besides us! At the end of the tournament, you can take them home or wear them around the rink for the next 20 years!

The Omaha Superhero Shootout was initially born in 2021. What started as a 10U-14U tournament quickly grew to 6U-14U. After a 3 year hiatus, we are BACK!

The Omaha Superhero Shootout isn't your typical hockey tournament. Instead of bringing existing teams, players register individually and are drafted onto balanced teams, giving everyone the opportunity to make new friends, meet new teammates, and enjoy a competitive weekend of hockey.

Every player receives:

• 📸 A fun, memorable tournament experience

By limiting the tournament to House/Rec players, we're able to create balanced competition where every player can contribute and have success.

To ensure plenty of ice time and a great experience, each division is limited to 60 skaters and 4 goalies, making registration more personal and organized than a large traditional tournament.

Whether your child is playing in their first tournament or simply loves hockey, the Omaha Superhero Shootout is designed to create lasting memories both on and off the ice.

Absolutely! During registration, you'll have the opportunity to request one friend you'd like to play with.

We'll do our best to honor all teammate requests while creating balanced teams. If two players request each other, we'll make every effort to place them on the same team.

Our goal is to give every player a fun, competitive experience while still allowing friends to enjoy the tournament together whenever possible.

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your registration, refund requests must be submitted by email no later than January 31, 2027.

• ✅ Cancellations received on or before January 31, 2027 are eligible for a full refund.

• ❌ No refunds will be issued after January 31, 2027, regardless of the reason, including illness, injury, scheduling conflicts, travel issues, or a decision not to attend.

This policy allows us to finalize team assignments, order custom jerseys, secure ice time, and ensure a great experience for all participants.

If you need to cancel before the deadline, simply email the tournament director with your player's name and registration information.

Because we will have to order jerseys significantly in advance, rosters and schedule will be available by March 1st, 2027!
